Jeremy Lanig, born in California in 1979, is a U.S. artist and photographer currently living in Japan.

After completing a M.A. in mathematics, his focus shifted towards photography and fine art. His personal work topics include, abandonment and garbage aesthetics, rural Japanese culture, and Japanese elementary and junior high school lifestyle.

While studying math at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jeremy also studied lithography, serigraphy, intaglio and watercolor painting.
